About Kato Music Studio
Quarterly recitals help students to set goals and maintain healthy practicing habits. Students of varying ages and ambitions (Kato Music Studio students range in age from five years old to sixty-two!) are encouraged to discover their own potential through carefully chosen activities which suit their interests. Students can choose to participate in a range of fun, challenging, and educational music activities. Music Teachers Association of California State Convention, Certificate of Merit, National Piano Guild Auditions, Southwest Youth Music Festival, and Composers Today are just a few of the options available.
Improvisation & Certificate of Merit Workshop at the 2003 Music Teachers Association State Convention. Back Row: Santa Clara Branch piano teacher Margaret "Peggy" West, Santa Clarita Branch piano teacher Alyse Korn, Santa Clara Branch piano teacher Dr. Marilyn Carstens, Long Beach Branch piano teacher Lisa Kato. For more information on studio activities, go to Studio News. For more information on available student activities, go to Studio Programs. |
